Conan at Con on the Cob!

Here are some photos from my Conan game at Con on the Cob 2010! I had six great players and a very good time. I used the Solomon Kane rules along with some Edges and Setting rules from Shaintar, Deadlands, some monsters from the Fantasy tool kit and a few of my own additions. Hope you like 'em!

The lone barbarian sneaking into the deserted village.

The others look on hoping he gets eaten by something...

Attack! It was during this scene that one of the barbarians chased down a horse (on foot) and tackled it.

The foolish barbarians followed a scantily clad woman into the mountain pass, only to meet her older brothers!

More mountain pass carnage!

Ymir takes form!

And the fearless Horse chaser attacks!

So full of awesome! Wish I could have been there.

Ymir as a dragon? Interesting: Howard visualized Odin in "The Cairn on the Headland" as a Lovecraftian horror. But then, who's to say it's a Lovecraftian horror that can't turn into an ice dragon anyway?

Beautiful work, too.
